  • Maintaining the course

The sport of Cross country by its nature features varied terrain, elevation, and weather conditions. Very few high school teams across the state have their own, on site cross country course. That is not the case for the LaRue County High School team as they have had the luxury of practicing and competing on the campus of LaRue County Schools since 2013.

  • Hawks shutout by Taylor County

The Hawks suffered a disappointing 39-0 loss to the Taylor County Cardinals last Friday.

This was the first time the Hawks were scoreless in a game since the 2015 season when the Cardinals also beat the Hawks 27-0.

During the game last Friday, the Hawks simply struggled to get in the end zone as they had several stalled drives along with two interceptions. The Hawks actually had a good game offensively as they put up 314 total yards on offense with 89 yards passing and 225 yards rushing.
