  • Increasing the competition

The LCHS Lady Hawks soccer team had a breakout season last year and this year they plan to dial it up a notch as they set out to win a second district championship.

The Lady Hawks finished with a 14-6-1 record last season, which included a blowout 5-0 win against Taylor County Lady Cardinals in the 18th district championship game. It was the Lady Hawks first district championship since 2013. The win was also memorable as the Lady Hawks were district runner-up in 2014 and 2015, losing both times to the Lady Cardinals who claimed the district championship in those seasons.

  • Eye on the prize

With a breakout year in 2017, the Hawks football team are looking to go beyond the 2017 season with a district championship.

The Hawks also ended another drought when they won their first playoff game since 2012 after beating the Union County Braves 14-0 on November 3, 2018.
