  • Hawks fighting for a win
  • BASS FISHING STATE

    In only the first season for the LaRue County Hawks Bass Fishing Club two teams will represent LaRue at the KHSAA State Bass Fishing Tournament May 11 and 12 on Kentucky Lake at the Kentucky Dam Village.

    Evan Morris and Wyatt Pearman qualified 23rd out of 175 boats last week at the Region Tournament at Lake Cumberland, while Austin Burgess and Jack Gustafson qualified by finishing 26th. The State Tournament takes the top 29 out of the 175 boats entered in the region tournament.

  • Lady Hawks

    The Lady Hawks traveled to Green County last Wednesday night to take on the Lady Dragons, a district foe and their impressive (17-4) record. The Lady Hawks fell to the Lady Dragons by a final score of 19-7. Presley Brown and Jordan McClure had 2 hits apiece to lead the Lady Hawks. Calhoun, Bell, Pollard, and Evans had 1 hit apiece for LaRue.

  • Freshman Hawks

    The Freshman Hawks traveled to Hart County High School last Thursday night and came home with two wins as the Hawks defeated the Raiders by the scores of 14-4 and 16-3. In the first game the Hawks dropped 11 hits, Caden Davis and Brian Sanchez had 3 hits apiece, while Levi Austin, Brandon Reed, Tate Wootton, Kellen Bowen, and Jackson Carpenter had 1 hit apiece. In the second game the Hawks collected 10 more hits, Sean Rivera, Kellen Bowen, Brandon Reed, Caden Davis, and Levi Austin had 2 hits apiece.

  • From Italy to Hodgenville

    Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “The purpose of life, after all, is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.” Well, for Eleonora Bellu, her experience has been just that.

    Nearly 5,000 miles away from her home in Seregno, Italy, Eleonora has made her time count while in “good ole” Hodgenville, Kentucky, being involved in volleyball, cheer and now tennis.

  • Hawks Improve Record

    The LaRue County Varsity Hawks began their week of baseball by traveling to Radcliff last Tuesday night to take on the North Hardin Trojans. The visiting Hawks jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning as Dane Milby blasted his first homerun of the spring, followed by a single by Dalton Skaggs who would eventually score because of a passed ball at home plate.

  • Lady Hawks Picking up Steam

     The Lady Hawks varsity softball team is picking up steam at the right time in the middle of the season

    The Lady Hawks ended the week by shutting out Louisville Central 16-0 on Friday, April 20

    It was practically a flawless game for the Lady Hawks. Senior Presley Brown had a home run, double and 5 RBIs. Junior Emma Bell hit a home run and junior Kristen Boone tripled.

    Freshman starter Shianne Thompson struck out three batters and allowed three hits to earn the win.

  • Hawks Win District Championship

    The Hawks varsity baseball team made it a 4-Peat as they won their fourth straight 18th district tournament on Wednesday, May 23 after they beat Green County 8-0.

    2018 Future Hawks Basketball Camp

        The future Hawks Basketball Camp will be held from 12:45 to 2:45 p.m. on May 30-June 1 at the LaRue County High School gym. The camp is open to boys in 2nd thru 8th grades (as of Fall 2018). The cost is $40; siblings receive a $10 discount. Registration includes Camp T-shirt, fundamental instruction, and awards. Registration forms are available at local LC schools.
