In other words his heart his full because he is thankful for the opportunity to coach his team of young men.</p> <p> Such is the case for Hawks Head Football Coach Josh Jaggers who has endured a roller coaster type season, and over the last three weeks has won three playoff games putting them in the state semi-finals for only the second time in school history with the other time being in 1991.</p> LCMS Boys Basketball face stiff competition https://www.laruecountyherald.com/content/lcms-boys-basketball-face-stiff-competition <p> As the fourth week of LCMS Boys basketball began the Hawks first traveled to Elizabethtown as they took on the T.K. Stone Panthers on Monday, November 13.</p> <p> The 7th grade Hawks began the night of action falling behind the Panthers by a score of 10-8 after one quarter of play. Alec Silva paced the Hawks in the first quarter of play by connecting on three out of five free-throw attempts. In the second quarter the Panthers turned up the offensive pressure dropping 18 points in the quarter as they extended their lead to 28-16 at halftime.</p> Blue and White Night https://www.laruecountyherald.com/content/blue-and-white-night-1 <img src="https://www.laruecountyherald.com/sites/www.laruecountyherald.com/files/imagecache/thumb85/img_3700.jpg" alt="" title="" align="left" hspace="6" /><p> The annual Blue and White Night was held at the LaRue County High School gym on Saturday, November 17. Both the LCHS Boys and Girls basketball programs introduced their players, which included freshmen through varsity squads. The middle school teams were also introduced. Both the Boys and Girls Varsity Teams also had an intrasquad scrimmage. They have been taking nominations for the inaugural Class. In the second quarter of play the scoring for the Hawks started to balance out as the Hawks took a 17-14 lead into halftime.</p>
