• Where did the year go?

When I was growing up, I used to hear ‘times flies the older you get’. I thought that was crazy. It seemed forever between holidays, birthdays, special occasions, and the last day of school each year.

Well, it’s not crazy at all. So much of the world takes me away from the things I love the most. I love being a mom, the Cleaver version I will never be, but I try. I love to scrapbook, do crafts, hang out with friends, but it seems too much gets in the way of doing the things I just want to do, because of the things I have to do.

  • Urgent care, kids, a good data plan

In winter with three children it seems that at some point on any given day some one always has a sniffle, sneeze, cough or a nose that won’t stop dripping.

  • Speeding up the USB

Most users never stop to consider what type of USB port their computer has, or even if it had one. You should, however, because the type of port defines how fast data can be transferred and that limits how fast you work or more importantly, how quickly you can save your stuff and shut down at the end of the day!

  • Those older family members we couldn't do without

There are many things that grandparents do that many people take for granted. Grandparents are there for their grandchildren at ball games cheering them on. They are there with a sympathetic ear when talking to mom or dad seems overwhelming. Grandparents take their time, because they have made it through the rat race and for most it’s time to slow down. This means that grandparents are better listeners, they get down on the child’s level and give the their full attention.

  • Invasion of really big tablets

Just in time for the holiday season, Apple and Microsoft bring new tablets to market.

While Microsoft has had a larger tablet option for some time, Apple just entered the field with a 12” model. Unlike their smaller cousins in the 5” and 7” group, these tablets are more serviceable, as they are easier to read, faster and more flexible in their application.

  • How to access Windows files on a Mac

  • The Dangers of Underage Drinking

I enjoy writing about my opinion on topics, but I do not like to discuss things that make people angry or upset by what I write. Writing should be a way for people to express themselves and give people a different view from their own. Today I want to talk about underage drinking and how dangerous it is for our bodies and for our community.
