The Kentucky Farm to School Junior Chef program is a statewide high school cooking competition that offers youth the opportunity to learn valuable skills in recipe development, food preparation, marketing, public presentation, organization, teamwork and community involvement.

“The program is designed to stimulate the interest of students who may be interested in the culinary field,” said Stephanie Utley, LaRue County Schools’ Director of Food Service.
