    Highbaugh Benefit

    On July 24 Austin Highbaugh passed away due to a tragic accident, leaving his wife Cierria and his two sons Wyatt and Wayden.

    A benefit is being held on September 28 at the Memorial Elementary School, located at 1400 North Jackson Highway, Hardyville, to assist the family.

    Goodtime Cruisers

    The Goodtime Cruisers show will be held on Saturday, September 21 beginning at 4 p.m. on the square in downtown Hodgenville. Food will be available as well as public restrooms in the Christian Church annex during the show.

  • Lincoln Days Art Show

    The Deadline to submit your artwork for the Lincoln Days Art Show is September 25.

    All visual art forms are welcome including, but not limited to, mixed media, sculpture, collage, painting, photography, drawing, and watercolor. Entry fees will vary depending on the category.

    There are four categories to submit entries in: Open, Photography, Lincoln-Related, and LaRue County.

    Many people worry about tomorrow.  Why?  Because no one knows what will happen.  In the Book of James two men are planning a trip to a distant town to work and make a profit.  James asks, “How do you know what will happen tomorrow” (4:14)?

    As a Christian we can have confidence about the future, knowing that God is watching over us, that His grace is working in us, and that Heaven awaits us.  These truths should alleviate many fears for the child of God.
