• 4-H Speech Contest Results

    Members of LaRue County 4-H recently competed in a county speech competition.  Champions of each age division were then able to compete at the district level. Results are as follows:

  • School calendar - May 23, 2018

    Last Day of School

        The last day of school for LaRue County students will be Thursday, May 24, and will be an early release day.


        LaRue County High School graduation will be held on Friday, May 25 at 8 p.m.

    LaRue County School Board

    The LaRue County School Board regular scheduled meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the third Monday of each month at the LCHS Media Center.

  • Quest and Cool School

     The principle that will permeate Quest 18 this year will be learning through fun activities for gifted/talented kindergarten through fifth grade kids from both Abraham Lincoln and Hodgenville elementary schools. Camp runs June 18-22 from 8:30-11:30 a.m.

    Karyn Brey, gifted/talented coordinator, and Christina Boone, instructional supervisor, organizes the yearly event.

    Crystal Wilkerson was selected on May 11 to be Abraham Lincoln Elementary School’s next Principal by the school’s Site-Based Decision Making (SBDM) Council.

    Todd Rogers, a teacher at ALES and a member of the SBDM Council, said the group was unanimous in their agreement, and were “excited to have Ms. Wilkerson join the ALES family.”

    Chris Price, the current LaRue County High School assistant Principal, has been selected to be Hodgenville Elementary School’s next principal for the 2018-19 school year.
