    Aaron Bradley McGrath, 38, of Columbia was lodged for speeding 26 or more MPH over the speed limit, operating a vehicle with an expired operators license, no registration receipt, operating a motor vehicle under the influence, reckless driving, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and second degree possession of a controlled substance. He was later released from LCDC.

    Bobby Wydell Fisher, 33, of Hodgenville was lodged for contempt of court.

    Christopher Lee Rucker, 41, of Hodgenville was lodged for failure to comply with sex offender registration. He was later released from LCDC.

    Eric Juan Brown, 19, of Elizabethtown was lodged for contempt of court.

    Kristina E. Horne, 33, of Upton was lodged for contempt of court and failure to appear.

    Timothy R Hedges, 19, of Hodgenville was lodged for third degree criminal mischief. He was later released from LCDC.

    Andrew Nevins, 30, of Hodgenville was lodged for leaving the scene of an accident with failure to render aid, driving on a DUI suspended license, failure to maintain the require insurance and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He was later released from LCDC.

    Juan Carmona, 19, of Bardstown was lodged for careless driving, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, no operators license or moped license and possession of open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle. He was later released from LCDC.

    Christian Lopez Bermudez, 22, of Radcliff was lodged for fourth degree assault. He was later released from LCDC.

    John Geary, 46, of Hodgenville was lodged for careless driving, carrying a concealed weapon, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, resisting arrest, no tail lamps and driving too slow for traffic conditions. He was later released from LCDC.

  • Anonymous, or not anonymous

    Eight former LaRue County High School students have filed a lawsuit against the LaRue County School District and former LaRue County High School Principal Kyle Goodlett. The former students (plaintiffs) hoped they could remain anonymous, but that is being debated in the lawsuit. 

    The lawsuit was filed in September and all the plantiffs are female and now adults, but were minors and students between 2012 and 2016 when Goodlett was employed at LCHS.

    Bookings at the LaRue County Detention Center from Friday, October 20 to Friday, October 27

    Seth Laban Long, 32, of Hodgenville was lodged for operating a motor vehicle under the influence and non-payment of fines. He was later released from LCDC.

    Joshua Thomas Brown, 29, of Magnolia was lodged for operating an ATV on the roadway, drinking alcoholic beverage in a public place, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was later released from LCDC.

  • Butler in Jail

     

    A local attorney, who was indicted for mishandling client funds, turned himself in to the LaRue County Detention Center last week.

    Danny Perkins Butler was indicted on Monday, October 16 for two counts of theft by deception over $10,000 and less than $100,000. Both counts are class C felonies.

    Butler remained at large for several days as police were searching for him. Butler turned himself in to the LaRue County Detention Center at around 2 a.m. on Thursday, October 19.

    Evan Davis Hillard, 28, of Lebanon was lodged for harassing communication and flagrant non-support. He was later released from LCDC.

    Danny P. Butler, 71, was lodged for theft by deception including cold checks $10,000 or more.

    Christopher Mercer, 39, of Buffalo was lodged for failure to appear. He was later released from LCDC.

    Jonathan Bragg, 33, of Glasgow was lodged for court ordered appearance.

    Rayshawn Anderson, 33, of Elizabethtown was lodged for third degree criminal trespassing, possession of drug paraphernalia and second degree disorderly conduct. He was later released from LCDC.
