Darryl Enlow shared some old family photographs with LaRue County Herald News. In the top left photograph are some of his ancestors at a home across from the current Lincoln Jamboree in Hodgenville. Darryl said he believes the picture was taken somewhere between 1910 and 1915. Pictured left to right are Earl David (youngest brother), A.V. (father), Marvin Otis, Caroline Wirth (mother), Robert (next to youngest brother), and John (oldest brother). Two neighbor boys are seated on the porch roof. In the top right photograph is Darryl’s Grandfather, Otis Enlow, plowing garden spots with a pair of mules on Greensburg Street in Hodgenville. Darrylthinks the picture was taken in the 1930s.
