  • Community garden

On May 29, the first day of summer break, a group of middle school boys and a community member donated their time and garden tools to help me put in a community garden here at the LaRue County Community Action. These community members have been by several times since then to help keep the garden up. Anyone in the community is welcome to join in and work in the garden. When we start to get fruits and vegetables out of the garden, they will be here for me to give out to the community and/or the senior citizens at the senior center.

  • Hodgenville News - July 8,2015

Thought for the week: Worry looks around, Regret looks back, Faith looks forward.

Out and about in Hodgenville this week: Well, all I can say about all the rain we had on Friday, that should be enough for a while, I couldn’t believe how fast it came down.

Several church groups from Hodgenville have gone on mission trips this week, First Baptist Church went to the Dominican Republic, and Parkway Baptist went to Louisiana. I think that is so awesome!
