Every time the early Christians faced opposition they seemed to increase their praying. When they were challenged they joined together in praying even more to God for strength, guidance and wisdom (Acts 4:23-31).
Someone said, “When life is good, we should pray; but when life is bad, we have to pray.” We are in a spiritual battle as Christians (Ephesians 6:11-18), which means we should be committed to a life of prayer. Where else can we go but to the Lord for the help we need? We are to constantly be in prayer both in good and bad times.
