Tiffany Perry earns certified regulatory compliance manager designation for banking

 Tiffany Perry, vice-president of Lincoln National Bank in Hodgenville, has been honored by the Institute of Certified Bankers, a subsidiary of the American Bankers Association, in Washington, DC.

She earned the designation of certified regulatory compliance manager, which is awarded to individuals who demonstrate excellence in the field of bank regulatory compliance.

To qualify for the CRCM certification, individuals must have certain levels of experience and education in the compliance profession, pass an exam and agree to abide by a code of ethics. The CRCM exam covers regulatory requirements as they relate to credit, deposits/securities, safety and soundness, information reporting and corporate responsibility.

ICB certifications formally recognize those who meet these standards and meet professional continuing education and development requirements.

Perry, who lives with her husband Jody and two children in Hodgenville, began her banking career in 1999 and has been employed with Lincoln National Bank since November 2004. In 2005 she accepted the position of full time compliance officer and works closely with regulatory agencies.

Although her area of expertise is compliance she has also been placed in roles of leadership and training within the organization.

She is a graduate of Elizabethtown High School and McKendree College, Magna cum Laude with a bachelor of arts degree and emphasis in human resources and marketing. She is an alumna of the Leadership LaRue Class, sponsored by the LaRue County Chamber of Commerce.
