Sonora bank robbed

The Cecilian Bank branch in Sonora was robbed at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15.

An unidentified white male entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding cash, according to Kentucky State Police. The teller complied, and the suspect left the bank on foot with an undetermined amount of cash. He was not located in the area.

He is identified as a white male, in his late teens to mid-20s, 5'9", thin build, with a brown to red mustache and beard. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded zip-up jacket with a large Adidas logo on the back, dark blue jeans, brown hat and brown gloves.
