Youth Service Center Advisory Council to meet 

LaRue County Schools Youth Service Center Advisory Council will meet 11:30 a.m. May 8 at the LaRue County Extension office. For more information, call Marsha Duncan at 270-358-9745. The meeting is open to the public.


Calendar revision

The school board has revised two calendar days. May 16 will be an early release day for all students. May 23 will be a full instructional day


Last day of school

The last day of school for students is June 4. Graduation is June 6.



ALES site-based council 

The ALES site-based decision-making council will meet at 5:35 p.m. on the second Monday of each month in the school’s conference room. Future dates are May 12 and June 9. For more information, call the school at 270-358-4112.



Hodgenville Family Resource Center Advisory Council

The Hodgenville Family Resource Center Advisory Council will meet at 11:30 a.m. May 13 in the HES workroom. The public is welcome to attend. For more information, call Melissa Pearman at 270-358-3506. 



SBDM parent nominations

LaRue County Middle School Site-based Decision-Making Council parent nominations are due to the LCMS office by Friday, May 9. Parent election will be held 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. May 13 in the LCMS office. 


LCMS site-based council

The LCMS site-based council meets at 4:30 p.m. on the third Monday of each month. For more information, call the school at 270-358-3196.



Senior group photo

The LCHS senior group photo will be taken May 22 at Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Park.



LCHS baccalaureate is June 1.



LCHS graduation is June 6.



Goodwill donations

Hodgenville Family Resource Center has signed up LaRue County schools for the Goodwill Agency Assistance Program. 

When you donate textiles, shoes and other clothing and accessories to Goodwill, inform them that it is for LaRue County schools. The Family Resource Centers and Youth Service Center will receive 11.5 cents per pound and you will also receive a receipt for tax purposes. 

Drop items at the Elizabethtown, Radcliff, Campbellsville or Bardstown Goodwill stores. The Hodgenville Family Resource Center will give out Agency Assistance Shopping Vouchers to LaRue County families in need.

Bethlehem High School

Bethlehem High School will have baccalaureate at 7 p.m. May 22 in the Basilica of Saint Joseph Proto-Cathedral in Bardstown. Graduation will be 7 p.m. May 25 at J. Dan Talbott Amphitheatre in Bardstown. In case of inclement weather, graduation will be held in the BHS gymnasium.
