-A A +A

The Lincoln Trail Career Centers announced last week that a new resource called the National Career Readiness Certificate is now available for job seekers and employers in Kentucky. The National Career Readiness Certificate is a work-related skills credential that provides objective documentation of an employee’s skills that can be accepted nationwide.
The Certificate, based on ACT’s world-renowned WorkKeys assessments, measures essential workplace skills such as mathematics, reading for information and locating information, and is a reliable predictor of on-the-job success. The Certificate is awarded on three levels—platinum, gold and silver—based on an individual’s performance on the assessments.
The National Career Readiness Certificate offers job seekers an opportunity to stand out from the crowd by providing proof of job skills and enhancing a diploma or resume. The Certificate can assist employers with screening, selection and promotion decisions, and targeting employee training and development.
