LaRue County Little Miss and Master Compete at State Fair

The opening day of the 2019 Kentucky State Fair was Thursday, August 15. One of the traditional opening day events is the Little Miss and Little Master Pageant. The Pageant is for children who must be 5 years of age on June 30 and must not be 8 years of age on June 30 of the year of their local pageant. The event is held in the South Wing at the Fair and Exposition Center.

 The entries for this event consist of the Little Miss and Little Master as a couple. This year the LaRue County entry consisted of Audrie Roberts and Cooper Traxler. They are asked age appropriate questions. They are judged on their appearance and how they present themselves on stage. Miss LaRue County, Rachel French was present to assist the contestants during the event.

Audrie is the daughter of Ben and Angela Roberts. She is a very busy young lady keeping up with her hobbies. She enjoys competitive cheer, camping and modeling. Her favorite foods are fried chicken and green beans. Her favorite T.V. show is “Sugar Rush”

Cooper is the son of Curt and Victoria Traxler. Cooper enjoys swimming and spending time with his family. His favorite foods include the American favorite Mac and Cheese and Chicken Nuggets. His favorite T.V. Show is “The Loud House.

Congratulations go to the 2019 LaRue County Little Miss and Little Master, Audrie Roberts and Cooper Traxler. They received the 2019 Kentucky State Fair 5th Runner up Award in the Contest at the Opening Day Ceremonies. There were 65 contestants from across Kentucky participating in the event representing their local fairs and contests. The 112th LaRue County Fair expressed how extremely proud of these two young people they are. Congratulations!
