Thought for the week: The best things in life are the people you love, the places you’ve seen and the memories you’ve made along the way.

This past two weeks have seemed unreal and so sad due to the deaths of several friends and family members. Last Thursday, I went with the Sunrise Manor Adult Day Care to Sulfur Wells to the Lighthouse restaurant. I really enjoyed spending the day with the Adult Day Care clients. It was another thing checked off of my bucket list.

Last Friday, I spent the afternoon on the Bell of Louisville with Sandy, Shannon, Tina and Amy celebrating Sandy’s birthday early. Once again, on the way home I got stuck in the middle of a rainstorm. It seems like every Friday that I go out on an outing, a rainstorm hits. Go figure.

Thinking of you wishes go out Phillip Cheshire, Tim Ford, Leon Whitlock, Harlis and Bessie LaFollette, Helen Duncan and Mark Price.

Sympathy wishes go out to families and friends of Bonnie Wooldridge Wright, Catherine Brown, Bobby Pennington, Kenneth Henderson Jr., Julian Head, Carl Viers, Peggy Greenwell, Joseph D. Puckett, Emma Blaine Garrett and Charles “Chuck” Philpott Jr.
