 Relay for Life

LaRue County’s Relay for Life will begin at 1 p.m. May 30 on Lincoln Square. The event ends at 1 a.m. the next day. For more information on forming a team, call Kathy Ross at 270-234-3309.



The Freedom’s Angels Relay team will hold a Bunco Night 6:30 p.m. April 3 at Sunrise Manor Adult Day Care on Phillips Lane in Hodgenville.


Breakfast at Masonic Lodge

B.R. Young Masonic Lodge #132 on Lincoln Square, Hodgenville, will hold a breakfast fundraiser 8-10 a.m. April 4. A $5 donation goes to the building fund. For more information, call 270-234-4223.


RELAY FOR LIFE: Living Strong 5K

The Living Strong Relay for Life team will host a 5K 9 a.m. April 11 at First Baptist Church, Hodgenville, 730 Tonieville Road. Cost is $25 if registered before April 1; $30 afterwards. Run or walk in memory or in honor of a cancer victim with his/her name on the back of the racer. Contact kyoung101@comcast.net or Kayla Shoemaker at 270-735-2485 to receive a waiver. Shirts will be given to all participants.



Living Strong’s Adopt-A-Pig Project is going on through April 25. Adopt a plastic pig and enter a variety of contests to support Relay. For more information, call Kathy Ross at 270-234-3309.

The Veirs Crew is holding a car wash 10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 25 at LaRue County Farm Bureau.


RELAY FOR LIFE: Barbecue meal

First Baptist Church Hodgenville will hold a dinner/live auction 5-7 p.m. April 25 with proceeds benefitting Relay. A meal of barbeque chicken, baked beans, slaw, rolls, homemade dessert, and a drink will be $10. Carry out or eat in available. A live auction follows the meal with numerous services and items.
