Elvis and Meatloaf appreciate attendance

We would like to thank everyone who supported our recent Perkins Brothers Concert with Elvis and Meatloaf.com at The Historic State Theater in Elizabethtown.

When the weather turned bad, the snow piled up and the temperatures dropped to single digits we expected a big drop in attendance. We were very pleasantly surprised to see hundreds of you in those new seats. You certainly showed your support for the State Theater and we thank you for it.

As children, growing up in this area all those years ago, we could not have even dreamed of getting to perform on that wonderful stage where Hollywood came to visit. It is a very big honor for us to now be a part of the entertainment at the restored Theater. What a great job has been done with this local landmark. It not only has the historic accuracy, which you can see when you sit in the audience, but backstage, it has been improved, modernized and is a very professional, and inviting performance space.

A very special thanks to our hometown paper The LaRue County Herald News. You have always supported our show and it means a lot to a couple of kids from Ball Holler, which is what we are and will always be.

You cannot put on a show this large without the help of so many people. The Theater staff was always by our side and were instrumental in making this a successful show.  To all our friends at the theater your help is appreciated.

As the king would say “thank you, thank you very much.”
