ECTC holds graduation tonight

Program will feature address by Army colonel who attend the college

Elizabethtown Community and Technical College will hold its 44th annual commencement at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 14, in the gymnasium at Central Hardin High School in Elizabethtown.

The commencement address will be delivered ECTC alumni Col. Mauhee Edmonson, mobilized senior nurse and executive and deputy commander of nursing at Fort Knox’s U.S. Army Medical Department. He will address about 155 graduates who are expected to march at the ceremony.

About 592 students received their diplomas or associate degrees from ECTC following summer, fall and spring semesters. Family and friends of graduates are welcome to attend the commencement.

Refreshments will be served in the Central Hardin cafeteria following the ceremony.
