The LaRue County Democratic Woman’s Club will hold a forum for Democratic candidates 7 p.m. March 31 at Upton City Hall.
Phinis Hundley will serve as moderator.
Democratic candidates who have opposition in the primary election were invited to take their show on the road to six locations in the county as a convenience for voters.
“Our elections are not just about Hodgenville,” said Celia McDonald, LCDWC president. “Every voter and every vote should count equally.”
At Upton, candidates for County Judge/Executive, Property Valuation Administrator, County Attorney, District #4 Magistrate and Sheriff have been invited to participate.
The first forum was held March 24 in Magnolia.
An event at the high school auditorium will be April 8, with Brian Anderson as moderator. Students will fill many volunteer slots for this and the other forums set for April 12 in Buffalo; in Lyons on April 19; and at the LaRue County Courthouse on May 5.
The moderator will take questions from the audience.
