 Easter egg hunt at Parkway

Parkway Baptist Church, Old Sonora Road, Hodgenville, will hold an Easter egg hunt 2 p.m. April 4. Games, prizes, food, girls’ and boys’ bike giveaway.


Easter programs at Magnolia Cumberland

Magnolia Cumberland Presbyterian Church will hold several Easter presentations: 7 p.m. April 2 (Maundy Thursday), and a cantata, “Jesus Saves,” 7 p.m. April 3 and 10:45 a.m. April 5.


Maundy Thursday and Holy Communion at Wesley Meadows

Wesley Meadows United Methodist Church will hold Maundy Thursday and Holy Communion service 6 p.m. April 2. For more information, call Bro. Cory Murashige at 270-325-3740.


Community Good Friday Service

The LaRue County Ministerial Association will hold a community Good Friday service at noon April 3 at Hodgenville United Methodist Church, 825 Tonieville Road, Hodgenville. A meal will follow at 12:30 p.m. There is no charge to attend.


Community Way of the Cross

Community Way of the Cross will be 5:30 p.m. April 3 (Good Friday).  Participants will walk through downtown Hodgenville, stopping at selected sites to pray and contemplate the Passion of Jesus. The procession will begin at the parking lot of Our Lady of Mercy Church, 208 Walters Avenue, and will end at Creekfront Park. Rain does not cancel.


Oak Hill Good Friday Fish Fry

Oak Hill Baptist Church will have a fish fry meal and Good Friday service at 6 p.m. April 3. A love offering will be taken. 


Egg hunt at Wesley Meadows

Wesley Meadows United Methodist Church will hold an Easter egg hunt with prizes, candy and lunch 11 a.m.-1 p.m. April 4. For more information, call 270-734-2237.


Egg hunt at Round Top 

Round Top Baptist Church, 705 Round Top Road, Elizabethtown, will hold an Easter egg hunt 3 p.m. April 4. There will be lots of eggs, prizes, and food. Round Top is located 8.5 miles from Hodgenville off Lincoln Parkway. For more information, call 270-737-7339.


Egg hunt at Freedom’s Way

Awesome Events’ annual Easter egg hunt will be 4 p.m. April 4 at Freedom’s Way Church, 1170 Old Elizabethtown Road, Hodgenville. There will be free food and refreshments 2-6 p.m., plus games, prizes, and an appearance by the Easter bunny. For more information, call 270-737-9700.


Community Sonrise service

Family Worship Center will hold a community Sonrise service 7 a.m. April 5 at 80 Phillips Lane, Hodgenville. There is no cost to attend.


Easter sunrise service

Three Forks Bacon Creek Church will have an Easter sunrise service 7:30 a.m. April 5. The church is located 12 miles south of Hodgenville on Ky. 357. For more information, call 270-358-5041.


Ladies’ conference at Mount Moriah

A community ladies’ conference, “Promises, Promises: A Woman’s Event” will be held 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. April 18 at Mount Moriah Baptist Church, 50 Kirkpatrick Road, Magnolia (Mount Sherman). Speakers are Kelli Estes and Stephanie Rose. Lunch and childcare for 3-and-under provided. No cost to attend. An offering will be collected for guest speakers. Bring canned goods to support the food pantry and holiday baskets.
