Chamber Unites!

-A A +A

After a successful Winter Gala everyone wants to know what happens next? What’s the next big thing? We have had more than one person ask these questions.

We are in full swing at the Chamber and we are attempting to visit our current members while also visiting potential members. If we haven’t visited you, don’t worry we will get by to see you very soon.

We had a great time setting up at the Extension Expo last Saturday. It was nice to see so many friendly faces! Our hope was you had the opportunity to stop by the Chamber booth and take advantage of our giveaways. The winner of the individual chamber membership drawing was Laura Merritt of Hodgenville.

Drum roll please!!! Our next big thing is the Chamber Open House scheduled for 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 11. You are invited to stop by for light refreshments or just to say hello! We realize it is impossible for some of our business owners to come to our luncheons when you may be the only person in your store and certainly don’t want to close in the middle of the day. Here is your opportunity to meet and greet your Chamber Director and network with other business owners. We look forward to making this a quarterly event.

If you missed the March Luncheon with guest speaker, Joseph Danzer, the Google Guy, you missed a great presentation. The good news is he will be coming back to Hodgenville for a workshop in June sponsored by the Chamber. This event will give business owners an opportunity to bring your laptop or IPad and let Mr. Danzer help you get more acquainted with Google Maps and much more. His knowledge of all things Google is amazing and he is willing to come and show you ways to grow your business through Google and the best part is it is free! A date and time will be announced soon.
