Foghat is opening act for Creedence Clearwater Revisited

By Marty Finley

Creedence Clearwater Revisited headlines Elizabethtown's annual summer concert tonight at Freeman Lake Park.

The group consists of two original members of the rock icons Creedence Clearwater Revival — bassist Stu Cook and drummer Doug Clifford — who started the project in 1995 to revive hits such as “Down On The Corner” and “Have You Ever Seen the Rain.”

Classic rockers Foghat, best known for their pop culture-spanning hit “Slow Ride,” are slated to open the show.
