  • Caudill named LCHS soccer head...

During the past 10 years since soccer became a part of the LaRue County High School Athletic program, several transitions have taken place. From the initial co-ed team, the splitting of the boys and girls program, and to being assigned to a district by the KHSAA, the boys program was introduced to their new Head Coach last week, Dodd Caudill.

Caudill replaces Derek Bell who guided the Hawks for three seasons before being offered the John Hardin boys program in May. Caudill brings plenty of soccer experience to the still-young soccer program.

    The News-Enterprise

LaRue County sophomore Cameron Dawson has made quite a name for himself in high school golf circles, but he also made a monstrous impact on the baseball diamond as well.

Dawson won his second News-Enterprise Area Sophomore of the Year award, this time in baseball to go with the one he picked up during the fall for golf. He had an outstanding golf season, winning the Boys’ 5th Region Golf Tournament at Elizabethtown Country Club to earn his second consecutive state tournament berth.
