About 100 people competed Monday in the annual General Bob Cundiff Golf Tournament at the LaRue County Golf Course near Buffalo.
The annual Memorial Day event, named in honor of Brigadier General (Ret.) Robert W. Cundiff of Hodgenville, began a year after Cundiff’s death in 2005.
Organizers were pleased with the attendance.
“This is the best turnout we’ve had by far,” said Keith Bault, longtime member of the golf course. “We usually have about 60.”
