The word niche is often used for those people that are particularly good at something. For Sophomore Gabe Lafollette, cross country has been that niche.

Lafollette has been a member of the LaRue County Cross Country program for the last six years. His involvement with the sport started in fourth grade when former Physical Ed teacher, now HES Principal, Eric Hughes noticed Lafollette was gifted in distance running. Hughes encouraged Lafollette to give cross country a try.
