    The 6th Grade Boy’s Travel Basketball team entered into the third week of league play last Saturday in the Elizabethtown Youth League as they faced a 6th grade team from Bluegrass in the Elizabethtown area.

    LaRue Co. 40 vs. Green Co. 45         1/14/17

    The JV Hawks played good in spurts last Saturday against Green County, but could not overcome several big runs by the Dragons. The Hawks are now 6-2 on the season.

  • LaRue/Nelson County 6th Grade...

    LaRue County Team #1 hosted St. James this past Saturday morning and came away with a 33 to 22 victory. Landon Colvin and Carson Childress led the team in scoring with 8 each while Carsen DeVary had 7, Brandon Hillis had 4, Ethan Sullivan, Damian Vittitoe, and Aaron Silva had 2 each. Team #1 presently has a (2-1) record.

  • LCMS Hawks finish regular season

    As the last week of the Boy’s Middle School basketball season rolled around, the Hawks played St. James on the road last Monday night in Elizabethtown.

  • Hawks continue winning

    The LaRue County Hawks varsity basketball team are continuing to win as they picked up three more wins this past week.

    The Hawks dismantled their district opponent, the Green County Dragons, by a score of 67-28 on Saturday, January 14.

    The Hawks struggled some in the first quarter only leading 17-13, but the last three quarters were not the same as the Hawks held the Dragons to 4 points in the second quarter and led 37-17 at halftime.
