    As the second week of Boy’s Middle School Basketball rolled around the Hawks hosted a pair of talented Hardin County teams, the East Hardin Rebels and the T.K. Stone Panthers.

    On Monday, November 6, the East Hardin Rebels traveled to LaRue County eager to play their first game of the young season. The 7th grade Hawks and Rebels played the first game of the evening and it was the Rebels that jumped out to an early 10-9 lead over the Hawks after one quarter of play.

    LCHS Daddy Daughter Dance

    The LCHS Cheerleaders are hosting their fourth annual Daddy Daughter dance from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 18 at the LCMS gym in Hodgenville.  Registration forms will be available at each elementary school or by contacting Danielle VanderMolen 270-307-4342 or Angela Miller 270-268-3163.

  • Hawks finish regular season 9-1

    The LCHS varsity football team finished their regular season with the best record they have had in over a decade after they defeated the Campbellsville Eagles 43-14 on Friday, October 27.

    The win put the Hawks at a 9-1 record which is the best regular season record since 2002 when the Hawks finished the regular season undefeated.

    The Eagles could not recover from several blunders as they had one interception and two fumbles compared to the Hawks zero turnovers.

    The LCHS Lady Hawks varsity volleyball team let a two set lead slip away in the opening round of the 5th region tournament against Marion County on Tuesday, October 24.

    The Lady Hawks finished the season with a 20-17 record and a 7-1 record in the district. Their season ended with a (20-25, 17-25, 25-21, 25-19, 15-9) loss to Marion County.

    Jessi O’Bryan had 32 assists, Presley Brown made 16 kills, Bella Vengas had 14 kills and a block, Katelynn Lafollette added a kill, Taylor Newton had four aces and Breea Kirkpatrick had 25 digs and three blocks.

    Flag: 6-0 and 1 seed in playoffs 8U: 6-0 and 1 seed in playoffs

    10U: 2-4 and 5 seed in playoffs 12U: 7-0 and 1 seed in playoffs

    Quarterfinal games will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 4 at the LaRue County High School football field. Semifinals and Championship games will be hosted at 9 a.m. on November 11 at LaRue County High School.
