  • HMH offers concussion assessment...

That’s a question that can be more accurately answered this year as LaRue County High School, in association with Hardin Memorial Hospital’s sports medicine program, is implementing a type of concussion assessment that can help to objectively evaluate the injured athlete’s condition and track recovery for safe return to play.

  • Golf tournament played in Abell’...

LaRue County Country Club is hosting the Larry Abell Invitational Golf Tournament next weekend, honoring the memory of a former member who was well known in this area as an excellent golfer.
“Larry was one of the early great golfers here and it’s the least we can do as a club to honor him,” said Justin Craft, chairperson of the 36-hole tourney to be played Sept. 24-25.
The tournament had previously been called the Men’s Invitational, but the club’s board of directors agreed on the name change in July, according to Craft.
