Preservation Kentucky will host the second annual Preservation Pedal: A Bike Tour of Historic Danville, Boyle and Mercer Counties on Saturday, July 7.
This year, the Pedal will feature four historic bicycle tour options. The challenging 60-mile ride will begin at 8:30 a.m. The 42- and 24-mile rides will start at 8:45 a.m. A slower led tour of downtown Danville will begin at 10 a.m. and is intended for novice and occasional riders. Advance registration is requested at www.preservationpedal.org.

Three sluggers from the Major League Nationals team had homeruns Friday night in their game against the Yankees. Ty Morris and Brandon Cecil had back-to-back homeruns in the first inning on the first two pitches, while Briar Holt had a grand slam in the third inning knocking Morris, Cecil, and Chase Puyear in. The Nationals won the game 13-3.
