  • LCMS Mat Hawks place third at...

    The LaRue County Middle School Mat Hawks started off the dual format tournament on the right track against John Hardin coming out on top with a 45-41 victory.

    The momentum carried over to the next dual against Christian County as the Mat Hawks defeated the Colonels 54-31.

    However, the Hawks were defeated in two of the next three duals by top ranked Union County 52-36 and Evansville Mater Dei 54-36. The Mat Hawks also defeated a combined team of jayvee wrestlers by a score of 54-34.

  • LCMS boys basketball continues...

    The LaRue County Middle School teams travelled to Campbellsville to play in the Campbellsville Jamboree on Friday, November 6 and Saturday, November 7. The 7th grade went 3-0 in the tournament after defeating Campbellsville (35-30), Lebanon MS (39-35), and Adair County (46-41).  The 7th Grade is now 6-0 on the season. 

    The 8th grade went 2-1 in the tournament after defeating Campbellsville (43-33) and Adair Co. (37-24), but losing to Lebanon MS (33-43). The 8th Grade is now 5-1 on the season.

    LCHS Blue/White night

    The LCHS Boys and Girls basketball teams will have their Blue/White night to kick off the season on Friday, November 20.

    The event will begin with a chili supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the LCHS cafeteria. The scrimmage will start at 6:45 p.m. in the LCHS gymnasium.

    Pickleball

    Pickleball is being played at 5:30 p.m., Mondays and Thursdays at the Board of Education gym on College Street.

  • 2015 Hawks kickoff hoops season...

    The 2015 LCHS Hawks and Lady Hawks basketball teams will kickoff the upcoming basketball seasons with their annual Blue and White Night at LaRue County High School on Friday, November 20.

    The event will begin with a chili supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the LCHS cafeteria followed by the scrimmages in the LCHS gym starting at 6:45 p.m. Both the Boys and Girls basketball programs will introduce their players Freshmen through Varsity squads. The middle school teams will also be introduced during the event.

    GIRLS SOCCER

    The Lady Hawks Soccer team finished off their 2015 season in bold fashion.

    The regular season schedule was the strongest in program history. This very young team finished 8-9-1 on the season and undefeated in regular season district play.

  • LCMS boys basketball open seasons

    The LaRue County Middle School Boys basketball teams opened their seasons on Thursday, October 29 at Stuart Pepper Middle School in Meade County.

    Both the seventh and eighth grade teams won close games. In the 7th grade game, the Hawks were up 1 point with about 30 seconds to play in the game when Connor Baker hit a 3 pointer to help put the game out of reach with the 7th graders winning 28-24. Players who scored in the game were Kaleb Graham 11, Connor Baker 7, Jeremiah Belton 6 and Evan Morris 4
