    7/8 Yr. Old Division: Bye week

    9/10 Yr. Old Division: Won 31 to 0 over Breckinridge County

    11/12 Yr. Old Division: Won 26 to 0 over Breckinridge County

    Youth Soccer Scores

    U10 Panthers lost 2 to 4 against Elizabethtown U10M2.

    U10Panthers defeated Radcliff U10M3 by a score of 10 to 1.

    U10 Panthers lost 12 to 3 against Elizabethtown U10M1.

    U10 Panthers defeated Vine Grove by a score of 9 to 0.

  • Hawks soccer wins Championship

    The LCHS Boys soccer team won the Barren County Trojan Classic last Saturday.

    The Hawks were expecting to play in the championship game of the tournament last Saturday night, but the field conditions were bad due to inclement weather. Murray High School also advanced to the championship game, but they forfeited as they were unable to return to play in the championship on Sunday, therefore making the Hawks the champions.

    In game one of the tournament against Monroe County, the Hawks forced the mercy rule with 15 minutes left in the second half as they won 10-0.

  • Football Hawks fall to Taylor Co.

    The LaRue County Hawks varsity football team lost a hard fought match to the Taylor County Cardinals last Friday night 35-14.

    The Hawks struggled to get their offense moving in the first half as the Cardinals led 6-0 at the end of the first quarter and 12-0 at the end of the half. In the third quarter, Hawks running back, Bryson Cobb, punched the ball in the end zone on a 3 yard rushing touchdown. The extra point attempt was good by kicker, Josh McCourt, to cut the Cardinals lead to 20-7.

  • Hawks Fifth region golf...

    Last September, the LaRue County Hawks golf team entered the 5th Region Tournament at Heritage Hill really not knowing how well they could finish, let alone compete for a region championship.

    Fast forward 365 days and the LC Golf team is well aware of the opportunity it has in front of them at Fifth Region Golf Tournament on Tuesday, September 27 at Lindsey Golf Course on the base of Fort Knox.

  • LCMS basketball go 4-0

    Last week was a great week for the Lady Hawks Middle School 7th and 8th grade teams as they combined to go 4-0 during the week.

    Last Monday night, visiting J.T. Alton ran into a stone-cold defensive wall as the 7th grade Lady Hawks posted somewhat of a football score with a 28-0 victory. Leading the way in scoring was Paige Evans with 12, Avery Murray with 4, Ryan Brooke Puckett with 4, Maleah English with 2, Raven Smith with 2, Lydia Goode with 1 and Natalie Gentry with 1.

  • LCMS football falls to J.T. Alton

    The LCMS football team fell to J.T. Alton at home by a score of 50-0 last Tuesday night. The Hawks record presently stands at 2-3.

    The Hawks played North Middle School at home on Tuesday, September 19 and they will hit the road with an away game on Tuesday, September 27 at Stuart Pepper Middle School in Meade County. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.

    U10 Panthers played to a tie against Radcliff with a score of 4-4. U12 Warriors defeated Elizabethtown U12M3 by a score of 6-2. U14 lost to Elizabethtown U14M2 by a score of 2-5.

  • LCHS volleyball results -...

    The LCHS varsity volleyball team are now 13-13 on the season after going 4-3 this past week. They played Marion County on Tuesday night and their next game is this Thursday at home against Caverna at 6:15 p.m.

  • LCHS girls soccer results -...

    The LCHS girls soccer team went 0-2 this past week. They are now 4-8-1 on the season and their next game is away this Saturday against Bardstown at 4 p.m.

    LaRue Co. 2 vs. North Hardin 4

    Stats: Makenzie Hornback and Natalie Wolf had one goal each. Gillian Nunn had one assist and keeper Whitney Bauer had 10 saves.

    LaRue Co. 2 vs. Nelson County 5

    Stats: Nunn and Wolf each scored one goal. Nunn and Wolf also had one assist each. Bauer had eight saves.

  • LaRue Co. youth football scores...

    The LaRue Flag division defeated Hardin by a score of 33-21. The 7/8 year old division lost to Hardin by a score of 20-6, the 9/10 year old division won their game 14-12 over Hardin County and the 10/11 year old division lost to Taylor County by a score of 21-0.
