This is the second year the Hawks have participated in the event. This was also the first full meet (3.1 miles) of the season.</p> <p> Seventeen teams from across the state participated in the high school girls division (133 runners) while 16 teams (162 runners) participated in the high school boys division.</p> Golf team competes at PRP http://www.laruecountyherald.com/content/golf-team-competes-prp <p> The LaRue County Golf team traveled to Rowletts Saturday to compete in the annual Caveland Golf Classic (eight teams) hosted by Hart County High School.</p> <p> Freshman Cameron Lasley scored 86 which was the low score for the Hawks. Waggener answered with five goals of their own.</p> <p> Amidst the loss, Head Coach Derek Bell believes many positives were gleaned.</p> FOOTBALL: Hawks clawed by Bears http://www.laruecountyherald.com/content/football-hawks-clawed-bears <p> The LaRue County Hawks lost Friday 49-14 to the Spencer County Bears.</p> <p> Senior Koy Lindsey scored for the Hawks in the first quarter.
