" align="left" hspace="6" /><p> The LCHS Lady Hawks started their season with an 0-2 record after losing to Meade County and Central Hardin last week.</p> <p> The Lady Hawks lost to Meade County Lady Waves last Thursday 78-61.</p> <p> The game started out bad for the Lady Hawks as they trailed 27-8. The results were LaRue County 48 vs. Woodford County 36 and LaRue County 60 vs. Taylor County 24. In the fourth quarter a lot of missed opportunities let my Old Kentucky Home back into the ballgame before the Hawks were able to hold off a late rally securing the victory.</p> JV basketball results - December 7, 2016 http://www.laruecountyherald.com/content/jv-basketball-results-december-7-2016 <p> LCHS Hawks 60 vs. Caverna 35 12/1/16</p> <p> LCHS Hawks JV team opened the season at Caverna with a 60-35 victory.&nbsp;&nbsp; The Hawks used a smothering press in the first quarter to jump out to a 22-2 lead.&nbsp;&nbsp; The Hawks then outscored Caverna 38-33 over the next three quarters for the final margin of victory.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p> The Hawks were led in scoring by Bryson Cobb with 13, Anthony Adkins and Dailliss Cox each had 10.</p> <p> Their next game is this Saturday at home against Thomas Nelson at 6 p.m.</p> <p> LCHS JV Lady Hawks 43 vs. Meade Co. 41 12/1/16</p>
