The LaRue County Board of Education met Monday night. Among the discussed topics was a report of an audit conducted by Phillip Logsdon of the law firm Stiles, Carter and Associates.
According to Logsdon, the audit showed no reason for concern. He said food service remained stable and the Kids Crew program “basically broke even,” coming out $1,000 short.
One audience member questioned the board. Tracy Gardner, parent of a teen at LaRue County High School, asked about the lack of a nurse in the high school.
