4-H members now have the opportunity to sell Little Caesars Pizza Kits to help raise money for 4-H.
The sale is going on now through January 20. Order forms are available from the Extension Office and purchases can also be made online. Money must be collected at the time of the order. Checks should be made payable to LaRue County 4-H. Kits range in price from $16 to $24. Pizza kits are available as well as crazy bread kits and even cookie dough.
The Kentucky Department of Agriculture has approved 209 applications from growers who have been approved to cultivate up to 12,800 acres of industrial hemp for research purposes in 2017, nearly triple the number of acres that were approved for the previous year.
