There’s a new team on the roster for the University of Kentucky, one with barrels, bulls, roping, wrestling and a whole lot of enthusiasm by a group of students who have worked hard to put their dreams into reality.
Biven Turner, great-grandson of Charles “Red” and Phyllis Hazle, weighed tomatoes on the scale for a customer at Hazle Farm Supply, as his younger brother, Baines, watches. The long-time Hodgenville business closed last month.
Members of the LaRue County FFA Chapter in Kentucky were one of 37 teams participating in the National FFA Milk Quality and Products Career Development Event. The event was held in conjunction with the 86th National FFA Convention in Louisville.
