By now you may have noticed the American Byways signs placed along route Highway U.S. 31-E through our community. These signs designate the Lincoln Heritage National Scenic Highway, a 72-mile stretch of U.S. 31-E and U.S. 150.  
The nationally recognized roadway travels through six communities as it winds its way through the knobs of Kentucky. The corridor passes through Hodgenville, New Haven, Bardstown, Springfield, Perryville and Danville.

Is there an ordinance regulating how tall grass can grow within Hodgenville city limits?
Some of the areas are turning into eyesores.

City Clerk MaDonna Hornback said grass can be 10-inches tall before it is considered a nuisance. However, if the lot is two acres or more, the ordinance does not apply.
