  • 30 years of Merry Sunshine brings international blessings

Thirty and a half years ago, I dragged my parents to a photography studio to have their pictures made.

Mom, as always, was cheerful and smiling. Dad was there, begrudgingly, but he wasn’t going to smile for the nice lady with the camera – for Mom – for me – or anyone else.

  • Newspaper theft a costly choice

When it comes right down to it, we all make choices everyday that greatly impact our lives and the lives of others whether we realize it or not. Last week I made a choice to help with our vacation Bible school at our church. The choice was easy. The decisions I had to make throughout the week, not so much. Being the leader of 13 four year olds in itself is a job. Dealing with a few children that were having difficulty being part of the group, exhausting.
We talked a lot about making choices. Sometimes we make good choices, and sometimes we make bad choices.
