We are tired of winter. Hopefully, we’ve seen the last of it.
The storm that produced about 18-inches of snow on Feb. 16 had just melted away – in some places was still melting – when Winter Storm Thor hit Wednesday and Thursday, dumping about 20-inches of snow on LaRue County. Some areas received up to 24-inches of snow.
We’re glad we didn’t have ice that coated tree limbs and broke power lines. Power outages were minimal. And most of us made it through the snowstorm with water, power, cable and Internet intact.
