The LaRue County Herald News' NIE program promotes the use of newspapers as an educational tool. Through NIE, schools are provided with the newspaper, at no cost to educators.

The LaRue County Herald News offers a living, changing textbook that brings the real world — and particularly the local community — into the classroom. The newspaper connects the classroom to the past, present and future.
