The LaRue County Public Library held a groundbreaking ceremony on Monday, December 4 at the construction site of their new facility at 215 Lincoln Drive in Hodgenville. Pictured above are the staff of the library; from left are Sarah Graff, Lisa Williams, Andrew Coy, Charlotte Zirkle, Katy Marshall, Virginia Napier and Director Dana Jolly. The new library will have 47 parking spaces, large community room, a conference room, a study room, updated technology and more. The library received a state grant for $2,821,000. The new facility will have approximately 10,133 square feet of space and the total budget for the new library, including furnishings, is $2,831,846. For more pictures click through the slideshow.
