Buffalo man dies in crash

A Buffalo man died Nov. 17 from injuries he sustained in a single-vehicle crash between Buffalo and Mount Sherman.

Ernest William “Bubba” Stewart Jr., 37, was driving north on Ky. 61 about 8:37 p.m. when he lost control of his 2003 Chevrolet Venture in a curve. According to a report filed by LaRue County Deputy Doug Sherrard, the Venture overturned and Stewart was ejected.

Stewart was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital by LaRue County EMS and later flown to University Hospital in Louisville, where he died.
