  • LaRue runners headed to State

    Seventh-grader Emily Pearman and eighth-grader Clair Keller qualified at Region this weekend for the KHSAA State Cross Country Meet at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington.

    They posted their best times of the season.

    Keller will make her second appearance at the State Meet Saturday as she ran one of her best times of the year posting a 22:07 time, and a 13th place finish at the Region 2 Class AA meet at the Hardin County Fairgrounds.

    Pearman will make her first appearance at the State Meet as she posted a 22:06 time, and placed 12th out of 87 runners.

    Steven and Miranda Hagerdash of New Haven announce the birth of a son, Sawyer Mason Hagerdash, born at 7:34 p.m. June 30, 2014, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.

    Sawyer Mason weighed 7 pounds 15 ounces and was 19-inches long.

    He was welcomed home by a brother, Jayden, 5.

    Maternal grandparents are Michael and Connie Gardner of Hodgenville. Paternal grandmother is Denise Shoffner of Hodgenville.

    Great-grandparents are W.T. Gardner and the late Doris Gardner; Violet Druien and the late Kenneth Druien; and the late John and Helen Hagerdash.

  • Simms joins Primary Care Associates

    Kelly Simms, P.A., P.T., has joined KentuckyOne Primary Care Associates, formerly Bardstown Ambulatory Care. The office is located at 118 Patriot Drive, Suite 102, in Bardstown.

    She received her bachelor of health sciences degree in physical therapy from the University of Kentucky, and her master of science degree in physician assistant studies from UK.
