  • Library lowers late fees

Walking into the LaRue County Public Library with an overdue or “late” book or movie could cost a pretty penny depending on how long you’ve kept it past the due date.

However, those who had to worry about paying a dollar to make up for a day’s worth of tardiness on a DVD – now pay half the cost.

The library recently announced changes for the charges that would be expected when returning overdue items, making copies, making laminates or placing faxes.
