    On Sunday morning, Reverend Jeff Yocum was the guest speaker at First Baptist in the absence of our pastor Reverend Joe Morgan. Morgan, his wife and daughter were visiting guest at First Sunday.

    This Wednesday through Friday will be Spring Revival at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home at 7 p.m. The Wednesday evening speaker will be Reverend Sid Lewis, Thursday evening speaker is Reverend Mike Williams and Friday evening speaker is Reverend Billy Curle.

    Quick and Easy Peanut Butter Balls

    2 cups powder sugar

    2 cups peanut butter

    4 teaspoon unsalted butter

    1/4 teaspoon salt

    1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

    Mix together, roll into balls and freeze for 15 minutes


    12 oz chocolate chips

    2 teaspoon coconut oil

    Together Dip balls in chocolate mixture

    Edward and Thelma Ford Scholarship

    The Lincoln Museum is accepting applications for the Edward and Thelma Ford Scholarship. A $500 scholarship will be presented to a LaRue County resident graduating this year or pursuing continuing education.   • Missing LaRue County teenager - found safe

    Update to Breaking News - The missing LaRue County teenager has been found according to LaRue County Sheriff Russell McCoy. The teen was found unharmed and is safe. (April 20, 2016 3:30 p.m.)


    Local police are searching for a missing LaRue County teenager.

    According to the LaRue County Sheriff’s Department, Billie Nicole Soeder, 15, of Buffalo was last seen around 9:30 p.m. at her residence on Mt. Tabor Road in Buffalo.
