     LCMS Wrestling

    Results from Saturday's North Hardin Trojan Invitational.

    The Middle School Wrestling Hawks finished 12th overall out of 24 teams.

    Individual Results:

    Dalton Bell – second, 105 pounds

    Curtis Landrum – fourth, 190 pounds

    Thomas Hoppes – fifth, 75 pounds

    Griffin Dulak – fifth, 152 pounds

     

    Also competing were:

    Tharon Blair - 70 pounds

    Bryson Puyear - 80 pounds

    Thomas Boone - 92 pounds

    Michaela Rock sang “Halleluia” at the Farm Bureau District 3 Talent Contest and took first place. She will be performing at the Kentucky Farm Bureau Convention Dec. 6 at Galt House in Louisville in the Talent Showcase.

     We often think of America as the land of plenty, and so it is – but not for everyone. 

    During a Sunday school class last week, a group of senior class members who grew up in LaRue County told about their growing up here and in doing so, depicted the plight of too many children in the county.

      For the first time in its 122-year history, Pleasant Ridge Separate Baptist Church has a steeple. Workers from Campbellsville Industries installed the 23-foot, six-inch metal steeple Wednesday atop the church on Pleasant Church Road.
