  • An effective prayer reaches God's ears

God answers prayer, but James says effective praying meets certain conditions. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results. (James 5:16 NLT)

We are instructed to pray in Jesus’ name (John 14:13), which means to have an obedient life and a clean heart.
