Hodgenville City Council met in a special session Monday to hold second reading of the 2014-15 budget ordinance.
The budget is almost identical to last year’s.
The budget anticipates $336,800 in occupational taxes; $296,000 in city taxes; and $285,000 in insurance premium tax. Another $532,000 is budgeted for sewer revenue; $790,000 for water revenue.
Expenditures include $587,000 for police; $490,000 for city/capital outlay; $55,250 for fire department debt; $25,000 for park and recreation; and $78,200 for Red Hill Cemetery.
